| | | TRANSMITTER CALIBRATION KIT FOR "5X" FASTER TURNAROUND TIMES WITHOUT SEALANTS, WRENCHES OR THREAD DAMAGE! | Download the Hi-Res version of this image. | Minneapolis, MN—June 3, 2008— Calibration just got 5 times faster with the introduction of the "FasCal Kit" from FasTest containing quick connection tools designed to maximize throughput in the time-consuming task of transmitter calibration. The patented pressure-assisted grip-and-seal technology creates leak-tight connections and eliminates thread damage that traditionally occurs using sealants and wrenches. The “twist to connect” action of these connectors makes quick work of moving from one transmitter to the next in the repeated calibration process, and the internal swivel allows for easy installation while plumbed (connected) to a pressure source.
Each FasCal Kit contains 3 male and 3 female connectors of common size for connection to process instruments. Specifically, a unique 1/4" NPT male thread style for side or recessed port connections rated at 2500 psi, as well as 3/8" and 1/2" NPT male versions rated at 5000 psi. The female versions are 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" and also rated at 5000 psi. To maintain the service life of the FasCal Kit, a replacement seal set, service tool and lubricant are also provided in the convenient carrying case.
In addition to transmitter calibration, the FasCal Kit is used in process or manufacturing applications for fast connections to control valve actuators, transducers, pressure gauges, compression fittings and conduit or thin wall piping.
FasTest is dedicated manufacturer of productivity and high quality improvement connection tools for pressure and vacuum testing applications. FasTest’s complete line of specialty connectors are designed to provide leak-tight, reliable connections for industrial manufacturing applications.
