Berlin, CT—May 31, 2005— Sheffield Plastics Inc. has announced the appointment of John C. Brewer as Site Manager for the Berlin, CT production facility of Bayer Films Americas, a Division of Sheffield Plastics Inc. He has over 20 years’ of progressive management experience in the plastics industry.

In his position, John is responsible for all management of the entire Berlin site to meet customer demands for existing film products, and for new product development. He is responsible for managing the production of all film products and the coordination of all service departments in support of the manufacturing operation, including HES, Quality Assurance, Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Logistics and HR. Additional dotted line reporting to this position includes the site Finance functions. John will report to Bill Kistler, VP, Finance and Operations for Sheffield Plastics Inc, a Bayer MaterialScience Company.
